She could adopt an American orphan. Just think how newsworthy that would be; CELEBRITY ADOPTS AMERICAN ORPHAN.

Celebrities are always trying to do something "different" so that they can get more publicity. I don't think it would be difficult for someone in Madonna's position to get a black orphan baby in the United States but that might not be interesting enough to generate the kind of publicity that a star of that magnitude craves.
