 Post subject: British judge declares global warming beliefs a religion

A British judge has ruled that a man's extreme and irrational beliefs in global warming make it a religion and subject to protection as a religious belief.

Nicholson (the complainint) provided evidence that the company's CEO Rupert Dickinson did not respect Nicholson's religious beliefs:

In his written statement Mr Nicholson said: "He [Mr Dickinson] showed contempt for the need to cut carbon emissions by flying out a member of the IT staff to Ireland to deliver his BlackBerry that he had left behind in London."


It is not sure how Nicholson would have reacted if he had known that Dickinson's carbon-belching actions were similar to those of the global warming religion's "Pope" Al Gore.
