In the brave new world of PETA, even animals we consider vermin have rights. And this story shows what things will be like if PETA gets their way.
Will rats have a right to eat at some of our finer restaurants and not be at risk of being murdered? What about cockroaches -- will they be considered "illegal aliens" in the kitchens where they live with entitlements to medical care if they become sick?
